Wow. Another great game for the 3rd time in a row that came down to the last minute of the game.
With a trip to the Finals for the winner, the Bullitts and T Bolts went at it. And man, what a game.
After some feeling out of each other, the Bolts got on the board first. No panic. We can get it back.
Then they score a second goal.
But like I said, no panic. Less than a minute left, and Rosen takes a pass and takes it all the way down and roofs a goal on a bad angle that was impressive.
Then, Will G is able to tie it up right before the period ended. The next 2 periods were some back and forth hockey with some good chances, but alot of defense as well. Both goalies played strong, and nobody is able to score again, and we go to a shootout.
We're on thr bench, deciding the shootout lineup. I ask, "who wants to go first?" IMMEDIATELY, Bordeau said, "I'll go!" And he went out there, and set the tone with a nice top shelf goal over the glove.
Caldwell stops the first attempt, but after our next shot didn't go, they were able to tie it up with a goal. No goals with the next 2 shooters, so Joe Robillard goes out as the 5th shooter and rips it from the circle and scores.
T Bolts down to their last shooter, and Caldwell comes up high to secure the win, and send us to the Finals!
Next week, we take on the Cobras in a best-of-three series.
