Bullitts Game Write Up:

Wow. 2 weeks in a row, it comes down to the end of the game. 

The Bullitts squeaked their way into the playoffs, so the plan is to take advantage of it as much as possible and play our ass off. 

We face the Mustangs, who recently just beat us in the playoff pool. 

The game is super tight, as to be expected. Both teams playing tight defense, and both goalies coming up big. We finish the first period knotted at zero. 

2nd period is more of the same. Goalies playing like brick walls, and defenses swarming. Finally Rosen gets a little step on a pass from Bordeau and Dave Born, and he's able to capitalize, putting us up 1-0. 

We knew the Mustangs weren't gonna give up, and Caldwell had to make some terrific saves. But then, with 4 1/2 minutes left, they're able to get a rare rebound and tie it up. 

Man, the last 4 1/2 minutes were some crazy hockey. Plays back and forth, but nobody able to score. 

Then, with less than 10 seconds left, and we're in their zone. We have a couple nice shots, but Demars is able to stop them. Then, the puck pops put to Bordeau, who rips a last second shot...

That goes in with .1 seconds left on the clock to get the win! Not one second. Point one seconds. 

Mustangs were understandably upset, pleading their case that the time had ran out. But the ref called it a good goal as soon as it went in. 

And it actually was confirmed to us by Battalucco that on Livebarn, they confirmed the puck was in with .1 left. 

Crazy, fast, hard, playoff game. 

And now we get to do it again tomorrow against the T Bolts! Let's go!!!!
