For the final game of the regular season the cobras get another shot at the Mariners. They hold not 1 but 2 (4-3) victories on us coming into this seeding game. Deroche gets us going with a beautifully placed shot. Mariners answer quickly with a breakaway tally and we stay 1-1 until late in the 1^st. Pink finds Jason “I don’t shoot” Blair in the high slot and he buries the go ahead goal.

Start of the 2^nd and technically the same shift, Jason was not done. He would go on to double his total goals for the season and pick up a loose puck in front and make it a 3-1 game. We stay 3-1 until the last minute of the period where we would find the back of the net 3 times in 51 seconds. 1 being an absolute rocket from Durst.

Deroche and Vinny each add a tally in the 3rd. Derrick had an answer for everything the mariners threw at him. Great performance from him between the pipes!

Thanks to subs Albert and Ruben. This is Ruben’s 8^th sub appearance for the Cobras which makes his attendance a ridiculous 35%. Pretty sure I can add him to the roster at this point.
