A couple of late afternoon call-offs due to illness forced us to shuffle things around a bit. That might have thrown us off, because we played uncharachteristically sloppy for most of the night. The biggest issue for us was that other than Conner's double-post-and-in goal to tie the game at 1 a piece in the 1st, we just couldn't solve Kid Caldwell. He made at least 2-3 saves that I still have no idea how the puck didn't end up in the net.
Also, we're starting a gofundme to get Conner some new work boots. Every little bit will help us help Conner avoid an unnecessary workplace injury.

After losing a tight game last week, the Bullitts come back this week looking to get back in the win column against the Galaxies.
This was a fast paced game, with lots of chances both ways. Rosen is finally able to get us on the board to take the lead. But the Galaxies come back 2 minutes later and tie it up, and we end the first tied.
A few minutes into the 2nd, the cool Robillard draws a penalty, and then scores the PP goal to take the lead back. Rosen is able to get his second of the game not too long after that, and we go into the 3rd up 3-1.
The 3rd period goes scoreless until the much more handsome Robillard gets an empty netter right before the game ended.
But the story of the game was the Caldwell vs Caldwell match up. Both played great, but the younger one on our team made some MONSTER saves. Two giant ones on open one timers. Great job, Brendan!
Big thanks to Rob Hall, Adam Pinkowski, and Vic Quatrin for subbing!
Next week we have our last regular season game against the Mariners.
