In a 2023 Finals rematch the Mariners faceoff with the Diesels. Riley gets the Diesels on the board first with a nice shot from the slot. That was the only scoring done in the 1st period as the goalies locked things down. The Mariners finally broke through in the second with goals from Me and sub Menard. the Diesels would answer back to to tie things up with 4 minutes left in the second. The third period was the Pearson show as Ryan scored two goals in quick sucession to finally break the back and forth. Thats how things would stay until the Diesels pull the goalie late and Menard would get an empty netter only to be answered by a goal from Kundinger. Ryan then completed his hat trick on the empty net to seal the win. Three in a row for the Mariners after a pretty tough stretch coming out of the break.  Big thanks to Menard and Easton for subbing in and playing great defense.
