Aerostars roll into week 15 after our bye week to take on the Diesels. Diesels showcase a new goalie with Gadulka down, welcome to the league Jacob. Game is back and forth early with Diesels breaking the 0-0 to take the lead first and that would be the only lead they'd have. The line of Chet-Easton-Phil weren't having it on this day. They combine for 7 of our 8 goals, 16 pts total against the Diesels. Hell of performance by the line they were buzzing all night. We build on our lead through the first and second but the Diesels continue to fight and take advantage of some loose play by us bringing the game to within two goals. Dolega had to get on the scoresheet and nets the 8th goal to get us back to a 3 goal lead. The game ends 8-5, similar game to the last time we played the Diesels a few weeks ago when we won 9-5.
Great win by the boys, as I said the Chet-Easton-Phil line was on a tear all night. Chet was on a mission all night and he didn't disappoint with a 7pt performance. Team gets a nice little 2 game win streak going just in time for a 3 week Christmas break. Oh well....Happy Holidays to everyone and the vans will see you in 2025 when we take on the Marauders.
