Looking to build on our lead in the standings but the Galaxies had other plans. This is the Galaxy team I expected after the draft. Fast, suffocating pressure all game limited our chances. Killer played great when needed. We didn't do any favors for Sale either in this one and will look for improvement next week against the Edsels.

Galaxies came into this one looking for a third straight W. Last time these teams met in the battle for Vincent family holiday bragging rights, the SuperChiefs manhandled the Galaxies. We didn't forget that and wanted to come out and set the tone.
That's exactly what happened when Rocco fed Chapman out front from below the goaline to put us up 1-0 just 30 seconds into the game. Tons of hustle from our forward lines, a couple of big blocks by Schultzy, and some timely saves from Caldwell had us up 4-0 heading into the 3rd. That remained the score, despite a lot of pressure from the Chiefs, until a couple of costly turnovers led to Gorski tallies in the final 2 minutes of the game.
This was a total team effort and win. Hoping to keep the momentum rolling when we face the Mariners this Friday.
