Battle for 1st place against the talented Mariners. Pregame jitters when Chucky T puts on new blades for the first time in the iPhone era.
Scoring kicks off on a nice passing play from Tyson to Smith. We add 2 more in the 1st from Gorski and take a 3-0 lead into the 2nd. Gorski completes the hat trick for us to go up 4-0 but the Mariners start to tilt the ice in the 2nd half of the period and put 2 in to cut the lead in half. We right the ship in the 3rd period and play lockdown defense and get some key saves to preserve the 2 goal lead for the win.

No secret here the chiefs out worked us all night. We still have to find the pre bye week groove we were in. Good bar turn out though that was a good time. The schedule doesn't get any better this week as we face the Marauders.
