Mustangs with a day of call off to place bordeau in the lineup. Clearly he was the missing piece for that line as they score three goals. Possibly the first game where all mustangs scoring came from forwards as well. Bordeau got things started with a goal out front. Robson with a slap shot sneaking through the five hole. Joe Z scores with a hard drive to the net. Beaupre takes a shot to the wrist to keep hope alive. Whoever shot it at him should be ashamed (alderman). Down by two with no goalie Robson wins the draw to Joe Z and then finishes the rebound. Too bad he can only get one point per goal. Unfortunately we were unable to tie it up.

Lots going on this Monday night … new sticks get a goal (Middleton), long laces (Alex), lots of falling down (Owen & Alex), 1st goal in decades (Old Man Middleton) … It was quite a scene man

That about sums it up.
Alex was outstanding in net … once his equipment was tightened up. DeMars kept the Mustangs in the game … solid as usual.
