Aerostars stumble into week 9 hot off a fresh ass kicking by the Mariners. Schedule doesn't do us any favors with the Superchiefs, who sit atop the FHL standings. Tight first period with both teams getting opportunities but ends scoreless. 2nd period we were able to take two 1 goal leads but we give them both away, so we enter the 3rd tied up. We are able to break the game open in the 3rd by scoring 3 unanswered and shut down the chiefs from finding the back of the net.
Big win for the boys. Seemed to find the stride we had a few weeks back. We think it was moving from Monday to Tuesday. Finally got back to a Monday game and we're able to put together a solid game start to finish.

SuperChiefs roll into game 9 playing really good hockey. The game starts with a lot of back and forth. After a scoreless 1st, the offense for both teams finally kick into gear in the 2nd. 2-2 tie heading into the 3rd and unfortunately for us we experienced too many breakdowns to allow the Aerostars to pull ahead and ultimately take a 5-2 win for them. Tough night for the squad, but we get next week off to rest up and get things rolling again!
