The midshipmen knew we had t' come out with guns a-blazin’, an' the lads executed it t’ perfection, scorin’ 4 in the first period. Old Man Radomski snagged the first goal off a rebound, thanks t’ a fine hustle play by ACO. Seaman Soper got the second after his third or fourth rebound, a real gritty goal that was! ACO netted the third and fourth, both from tough angles, aye!

But several defensive blunders let the Thunderbolts right back in the game at 4-4. Yet Scary Terry returned us t’ the lead with a fine deflection from K”arrrr”epta. The Mighty Marauders wouldn’t look back after that, lockin’ it down in the third. ACO completed the hat-trick with a pass from Radomski, and the young Buccaneer Gret finished it off by buryin’ a one-time clapper from ACO. A grand bounce-back battle it was, now we set our sights on the Cobras, yarrr!

Well, we managed to start slow, going down 3-0 in the first 4 minutes of the game. We managed to battle back to tie the game at 4. Then a couple of turnovers in our own zone caused havoc and 2 more goals to put the game out of reach for the marauders. Effort was not the issue today as the guys skated their butts off, especially after Hinkle went out with a back. Up next the Fiesta!
