Well, the season has gone L, W, W, L, W, W....book says bet on the loss for our week 7 matchup with the Mustangs. I didn't have Demars looking like an NHL goalie on my bingo card for how we'd lose, but holy hell did he stand on his head. Literally. He made 2 saves looking like Dominic Hasek out there. He reminded me of the save in Mystery, Alaska.
Sometimes you just get beat by a goalie. Boys played great and we had numerous opportunities. We couldn't find the twine. Credit to the stangs for taking advantage of 2 of our 3 mistakes (Albert couldn't bury the breakaway). 2-1 game, not going to win only scoring 1. Goes to show you...Vegas always knows.
We'll shake it off and move on to the Mariners.

Huge win for the mustangs last night. 100% effort from tee to green. Aerostars did start the scoring off 1st, can't remember who scored. Definetly someone irrelevant. Either way they never scored again on demars. Next up is batalucco with a huge stick poking it out of our zone and coliton just out paces crisi with sheer speed and speed alone for a breakaway goal. Final goal would come from a draw in aerostars territory. Vic works the puck out of the corner to Joe Z who makes no mistake finishing for the game winner. If the league still did three stars of the week demars would be on that list.
