Mustangs Game Write Up:

This was a tough loss for the Mustangs. Team played well, had some good puck possesion but could not put up enough points to keep up with mariners. Game felt much closer than the 6-2 would indicate. First goal for the mustangs was netted by batts going coast to coast. We have come to expect at least one goal from our defensive core every week. Next goal came from our first power play of the season. Good perimeter work, shot from the middle with traffic and a rebound goal. Batts to Dany to Joe Z for the finisher. Strong post game presence at rink and following establishment.

Mariners Game Write Up:

The mustangs come out strong and pretty much control the first few shifts but Zach stayed steady until our lines could gel with subs Tim Lyons and Matt Margitan filled in for Petro and Jonesy. Once we broke through the offense maintained a nice steady production and ultimately we ended up with the 6-2 victory. Mustangs definitely should have had a late power play in the 3rd when I tripped Joe Z in the corner (on accident, sorry Joe) thanks to Tim and Matt for subbing
