Closing out our 6th straight week playing Mondays, due to our own request (Thanks Filar!), we take on the gritty Edsels.  The boys came out buzzing in this one.  It felt like we controlled 80% of the first period right from the rip, only to have Timmy Lyon snipe one past Frenchie with 2 minutes left in the first.  End of 1 and we are losing 1-0.  It left us scratching our heads but credit to Krichiver who was a wall. 2nd period we find the back of the net a few times to take a 3-1 lead into the 3rd.  3rd period we continue to step on the gas and turn it into a lopsided victory 7-2.  

This felt like our most complete game all season.  We improved defensively from week 5 and supported frenchie between the pipes. Chet was Chet as usual with a 6-point night.  The Reas must have had a side bet on who could score the prettier goal.  Phil got us started with a nice backhand over the blocker.  Easton had to one-up Dad later in the game with a between-the-legs goal right over the glove.  The team is cooking right now as Dwight would say we are deep in perfectenschlag right now. 

Onto week 7 and a highly anticipated match with the Mustangs.
