Aerostars Game Write Up:

Coming off a down week against the TBolts, the flying vans take on the Diesels, who are looking for their first win of the season.   Pregame message is to start fast and lead instead of chase, which we've done all year.  Seeley gets us started midway into the first and we never relinquished the lead.  Credit to the Diesels though they never quit fighting and kept the game close through the 2nd period.  We were able to break the game open in the 3rd to get the win.

Hell of a bounce back off a bad loss.  Boys were everywhere, attacking the net and creating opportunities.  We once again saw Easton and Chet pull off the "Bubble Hockey Play" as it's being called and we got to see the first-ever Rea to Rea connection as Phil buries one from Easton who pulls the entire Diesels D to him, leaving Phil alone in front. Phil asked for the puck post goal for his shadowbox, but I don't think the refs obliged.  Two-goal game for Chet, Easton, and Crisi who's on a mission to show the FHL he's been playing the wrong position all these years.  Good team win with contributions from everyone on the stat sheet.

Thanks to Coliton for subbing on short notice.  Great Monday in the FHL with a solid turnout at Trina's and a Tigers victory.  We move on to week 6 and the Edsels.

Diesels Game Write Up:

Focusing on the positives, the Diesels put together a better offensive strategy to score more goals, but they forgot to play defense in front of Gadulka.  We stayed out of the box and controlled a lot of the play for most of the night.  Unfortunately, we finish on the losing end once again.
