A very anticipated tilt between the league’s 2 new GMs. This game had every bit every high and low you could think of. Matty, breaks the ice early in the 1st with a cheeky shot off Demars foot from below the goal line. Shortly followed by a tally from myself on a breakaway. Just before the first period came to a close, Tassis gets the puck in the corner and takes out his own rep with a piss missle of a pass. Albert went down but was not out! (Definitely did not clip it on livebarn)

2^nd period was a party. I start the period with back to back goals for the natural hat trick. Our 4-0 lead would not last long as opposing rep Albert would open the scoring for his team. He would then follow suit with 2 more earning his natural hat trick. The shell shocked cobras try to overcome the Mustang’s rally but come up short allowing the comeback to be complete. The 2^nd period ends 4-4 and that is eventually how the game would end. A lot of back and forth in the 3^rd period, good chances and better saves coming from both sides.

The Cobras are yet to be as drafted, this week was much closer though! Thanks to Chris Vincent for subbing!

Tonight the two new rookie reps face off. Mustangs come out slow which is beginning to seem like a tradition for us. Cobras strike first, followed by a cobras goal, then we have cobras netting a goal, finally after that we have a fourth cobras goal. 4-0 cobras. Then 10 seconds later we have a huge game tying goal by dany, our D, getting a nice break out pass from robson, our forward. Another mustang tradition of D having a lot of input on offense. Momentum seems to be in favor of the mustangs until a late 3rd period penalty puts us on our heels. We fight it off to walk away with a 4-4 tie. Oh and tasis shot the puck right at his own rep...more than once...
