Edsels Game Write Up:

an undefeated edsels squad head into week 3 after having as many subs as the canadian navy in week 2.

we finally nab our first lead of the season when martina smacks a puck up in the neutral zone to bartkowiak and kalinski, who battle into the diesels end. kalinski rips a good shot on net, with dave pouncing on the rebound to make it 1-0.

diesels pull is back early in the third, but we dipped into the edsel alumni pool (aka the exsels) and had john durst subbing in, who snagged a cross ice pass in the neutral zone, bolted in, and cranked one home.

bit of drama at the end when one of the diesels ripped a shot on net. some in the crowd thought it may have went in. some said it didn't. the refs were some who didnt.

diesels scored not long after unfortunately to tie it at 2-2. poetic justice or something.

anyways, that's 3 ties in a row which keeps the edsels motto of "we don't lose, we just run out of time" going on to next week.
