Vic with a last minute call off probably cost the Mustangs the game. Superchiefs come out flying but are held off by demars. Mustangs strike first with a breakaway from our D pat coliton after a nice steal and nice finish. Then some other things happend and after that a nice pass from our winger in front of our own net to our D at center ice for another breakaway. pat coliton nets his 2nd of the night. Mustangs apply some good late game pressure but the team REP is unable to score with plenty of chances. After having almost 50% of the leagues penalties week 1 we were able to stay out of the box this week. Probably because Batts trucked the ref early to send a message. Weak bar presence at trinas.

Back and forth game to start until the Mustangs get on the board late in the 1st. Chiefs tie it back up with a strong effort from sub Aco to make it 1-1 after 1.

The second is another tightly contested period with the Mustangs taking the lead late in the 2nd.  The SuperChiefs were resilient and were able to tally 2 quick goals from Shane and Aco to take a 1 goal lead into the 3rd.

Third period again sees very strong defense from both teams until Blake finds Aco for a nice 1-T that finds the back of the net.  

Game ends with a 4-2 victory.  Another strong performance from Sale, and our defense. Thank you to Alex Cowart for subbing in and netting the hat trick!

Side note: Pure dedication from Blake today, who got in a car accident earlier in the day (no injury), and took an Uber to the rink to make the game!
