Thunderbolts Game Write Up:

Ryan's back, we play with as drafted team against the rookie rep Bradybaugh! Come out fast, scoring first. Pretty fast paced game. Back and forth for the first period. Then the flood gates open. New 4.0 Margitan scores a hatrick, we can only get within 2 goals. We are still trying to find our legs, but looks like once we do we will be a typical Thunderbolt team, fast and tough to play against! Ryan scores the hat trick, goals by Alderman and Dan.

Cobras Game Write Up:

After a tough defensive battle in week 1, the Cobras come into week 2 hoping to take down the defending champs and get the first win for the franchise.

Unlike game 1, game 2 is all offense. The Tbolts come out flying to take an early lead within the first minute of puck drop. The unphased Cobras battle back with goals coming from Pink and Bradybaugh. The first period ends as it started, a tie game. The tone was set for the rest of the game, an exciting back and forth barnburner.

With some unplanned changes to the lines early in the 2nd period, the Cobras find some chemistry between REP (myself) and rookie Matt Margitan. Matty tallies not only his first FHL goal but would go on to get the natural hat trick, all coming in the 2nd period. An explosive 4 point night for the rook Matty!

We stayed strong into the third period making the game 6-2. However, these thunderbolts were not going to roll over. They assemble a very strong offensive line and close the gap quickly scoring 2 goals. The Cobras do not panic and answer with one late in the third. The Tbolts would attempt another rally but are cut short with an empty net goal from the Cobra REP.
