Final game of pool play....game loses a bit of its shine before the puck drops as both teams secured a path to the knock-out due to the results of other games.  Pride and seeding were still on the line though and we had something to prove against the team that's carried the season lead for most of the year.  

Marauders strike first with 18 seconds left in the first period.  Bit of a letdown for us to close an otherwise outstanding first.  2nd period Rauds strike again to go up 2-0.  We catch a break with Soap jumping out a bit early and getting the too many men call.  We capitalize on it and Alex buries the goal.  2-1.  Alex strikes again later in the 2nd fresh off the bench from a nice feed by Austin to tie it up. 

Rauds recapture the lead late in the 3rd, we pull the goalie and put a lot of pressure on the Rauds but Brendan holds strong and the time runs out. 

Great game by both teams, felt like we had a lot of opportunities but Brendan and the Rauds kept us from burying anymore. 

We move on to the knockout round where we take on the Superchiefs.
