Diesels off a 2-game W streak look to keep it going at the most important point in the season.  Grashik, still in for Andy, seemed up to the task to stop one of the leagues more offensive minded squads.  He fended off many shots in the first period before the Fiesta got one from a shot from the point.  Diesels continue to get their opportunities, and finally break through on a rebound goal from Brandon Thomas midway through the second.  1-1 with both sides exchanging scoring chances.  Fiesta net another about a minute after Diesels get on the board, which in the regular season would have been disaster for the Diesels to continue, but not in the playoffs!  Diesels storm back scoring 3 more before the period ends taking a 4-2 lead into the third.  Near the middle of the third, Sparks makes a rush up the ice and blasts one by Kevin from the top of the circle.  Diesels rolling 5-2, but know the game is far from over!  Fiesta rally back and net 2 more to get it within 1, but the Diesels shut it down defensively to grab the 3 points in a much needed win!

Started off well, and then let our foot off the gas. Still a lot of hockey left to get into the final 8.
