Coming off last week's loss to the Superchiefs, the Fiesta needed some better music to get the party going again. This proved to take a little bit longer than planned based on the goalie battle we witnessed for the first 20 minutes. 

Down Poodle, the Fiesta rolled with 9 against Deroche and the Diesels. First period started off with some great back and forth, and the Fiesta had a couple of great scoring opportunities. For all the pressure we put on though, all it took was a wrister from the blue line by the Diesels to go up 1-0. It would take the entire first period for the Fiesta to respond by a great goal from Harris. 1 -1 after the first.

Second period was more of the same goalie battle between Andy and Caldwell. Diesels manage to get one past us to close out the period 2-1.

Third period was where the party started, though. Four goals in the last ten minutes would prove to be too much to handle. A pair from McCaig, a great tip from Robillard, and an empty netter from Barta made sure the Fiesta would finish with another W. Great game to bounce back from last week's loss and another great performance by Caldwell. Looking forward to keeping the party going against the Aerostarts next week. 

Another good start that fizzled out.  Diesels need to find a way to play a complete game.  Thanks to kid Caldwell stepping in and lighting up his old man!
