Let's just cut to the chase .. Galaxies lose and it felt like this:

We had it, then we lost it, then we had it then it all went to hell.  Scoring consists of Chris netting a sweet one timer from Kyle, and Konstantino gets a nice feed from Joe. Konstantino gets a tip in late but by that time the game was over.   We had chances galore ... so that’s good.  Sale kept us in it and there were hardly any swear words on the bench 😊

Even though we've got some pretty tough opponents next week, don't count the Galaxies out yet ... I guarantee you that we WILL make the playoffs!

The Mariners come in after righting the ship last week and we get on the board first when Rhett throws the puck out front and Dennis tied up Travis and the puck finds its way right to me and I sneak it past Sale to give us the 1-0 lead. Less than a minute later the Galaxies tie it up on a nice play in front. Late in the first I was skating up the middle and Try to make a move through Zalewski and accidentally smack him in the face 😳 sorry Joe. Fully expecting my 2 minutes of shame I forget I'm supposed to be playing defense and the Galaxies take advantage and put home a nice cross ice pass. The 2nd period goes back and forth for awhile until Dennis gets ahold of another Rhett net front pass and flips the puck over a downed Sale to tie the game up at 2. A minute later Rhett buries one off the rush to restore the lead 3-2. After a hooking penalty to Rod, Coliton finds a streaking Rhett to send him in on a short handed breakaway and he buries his 2nd of the game to put us up two. Early in the 3rd sub Brendan feeds Jonesy who totally misses the net on purpose to bounce pass the puck off the end boards right to me to sim into the empty net. 5-2 good guys, the Galaxies don't quit and get the next one but that's all she wrote. Nice win, good game by both teams. Thanks to Brendan for subbing.
